When Obama said those immortal words ‘We Are Five Days From Fundamentally Transforming the United States of America’ in 2008, it sent a shiver down every Conservative’s spine because we knew what he meant. He didn’t mean ‘I love America, but we still have some problems that we need to fix’, he literally meant transform and actually undo the country itself. Most of his voters didn’t see it that way and his declaration likely went over their heads. They were just so enamored with him and happy to have a (half) black President. I would have been too if I didn’t know he was a Marxist who had such a shady history and so many anti-American friends.
No one would date or marry someone who told them ‘I love you, but as soon as we get married, I’m going to fundamentally transform you’, because you don’t need to transform something that you love. His voters probably thought it just a benign statement rather than a complete rearranging of everything they’d ever known. We can only hope that they’re waking up and understand the real meaning of those words as well as this frenzy by Left-wing revolutionaries Antifa and BLM to undo, malign and erase the entirety of the country’s history to such a degree that even statues of black heroes aren’t safe. That’s what fundamental transformation looks like after all.
Whereas they used to like or perhaps just pretend to like the country, the Democrat Left is showing that in fact it hates America, especially in the Trump era. With Donald Trump’s election and the unacceptable decision by the voters to reject them and their platform, Democrats’ rage has filled them with such poison that their only solution is to burn the whole thing down. They’re not even trying to pretend anymore. If they can’t win elections, they’ll punish the people who’ve stopped them. And when I say ‘the Left’, I mean the new Democrat, i.e. Communist Party, that of Comrade Cortez, Omar and Tlaib, the spawn of Sanders. There isn’t a JFK Democrat among them, they’re all full Marxists now. The founder of BLM Patrisse Cullors admitted as much.
The modern Left, the Socialists, which only 4 years ago were mocked as fringe but who now run the Democrat Party, want to abolish capitalism and replace it with ‘Socialism’. Socialist Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, who Tweeted out in May that corporations like Amazon needed ‘to be taken into democratic public ownership, to be run by workers for social good’, recently called for the actual replacement of capitalism with worldwide Socialism. The Monster from Minnesota Omar, also recently talked about dismantling the ‘system of oppression’ which she considers to be our capitalist economic system. The truth is, though they don’t actually use the word socialism, what they really want is Communism, after all, as Lenin said, the goal of socialism is communism. And of course with them in control.
Remember when Michelle Obama said in 2008: "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation?” What did she mean by that? Well, what’s happening now is what she meant. The same person who said "For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country’, who’s married to the person who said Americans ‘get bitter, they cling to guns or religion’ really wasn’t ever proud of her country before her husband ran, who would even think to say such a thing otherwise? But it came out, just as both of their other anti-American comments have, including in Obama’s apology tour after he was elected. He almost apologized to Japan for Hiroshima and Nagasaki for God’s sake. You’d really have to hate the country which elected you to do that.
So what is their goal for the country which they want to rule (and get paid handsomely by taxpayers to do so) which they despise so much? As Obama said, it’s America’s fundamental transformation and we’re seeing it in action! It’s a modern version of the Chinese Cultural Revolution, as evidenced in this quote from Orwell’s 1984: "Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past", which is the reason they’re going after language, symbols, and ‘traditions’, as Michelle Obama said. An additional and eerily adroit quote from 1984 shows how far they’ve advanced, ‘Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.’ Sound familiar?
There’s a saying that ‘when people tell you who they are, believe them’. Conservatives like myself got a lot of criticism for saying that Obama was a Marxist when he ran for office, even though his history, radical associations and even his own comments confirmed as much. We get derided currently as well when we say the Regressive Left and the Democrat Party hate America. We’re mocked as being Pollyannaish about the country and not acknowledging its flaws and dark history. But just like jail and prison lobbies are full of people who still love their imperfect loved ones, Patriots can love their country in spite of its scars, and be ever striving for improvement. These people don’t believe in redemption or forgiveness though, they’re godless after all. They believe only in power and control, achieved ‘by any means necessary.’ For them America is irredeemable and therefore must be remade, a remaking which first requires its destruction, the destruction of things we hold dear, such as our traditions, statues, and history.
We are at a very precarious turning point in America, and only one of us will win. Either they will succeed in destroying the country as founded and turn it into a totalitarian state, or we will remain a constitutional republic, striving toward the ideals and principles put forth by the Founders of a ‘more perfect union’. Will we go from a system where you don’t need to be perfect to be good or to one where even a 99 out of 100 isn’t good enough, which is what the Left is offering: total submission or annihilation. It is not an exaggeration to say that is the choice we face in November. Choose wisely America.
